We now rely solely on our players generosity to fund the NBR experience, and its a shame that voluntary donations have been somewhat thin on the ground since we opened our new server several months back, and by thin on the ground we do actually mean virtually non existent! A couple of our players have been more than forthcoming in their time with us, they know who they are and we thank them greatly as without them, we wouldnt be able to pay all our bills, but it always seems to be the same names that helps us all out time and time again. So considering the roaring success of the new server and the number of people enjoying the new server and the changes we made, we thought it might be nice if some of our more grateful players decided they might like to send a little of their gratitude our way.. wink wink....

... gornil = noob lol the server has been here for a while, and yer people should chip in i mean if a number of people gave a small amount each it would make a huge difference as oppossed to the few of us have to spend lots to keep this going...

I'm too poor to be handing out large sums but I'm subbed... Hey! When did it change me back to Gun Game Slot Holder from Gold Supporter?! Booo! Now i can't look all high and mighty over the players that aren't donating monthly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

If I increase my income you can be sure NBR will see more of it than i will (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Peace!

mabey we need more pro-active on letting regulars know we cant survive without them on the server.
They only seem to be able to find the forum/website when they get banned or have a conflict.

Or.. charge them a fee for getting banned and want back in (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

yer i just think that people think that they can't do much to help but even the odd £5 here and there makes a difference in numbers, i mean if 20 people donated a £5 that would be £100 and tbh £5 is fuck all mist places thats 2 pints ffs or two sandwhichs...

not to sound like tescos but every little helps, but just think for a sec, if everyone chipped in little amounts it would go a long way other than the few of us paying a lot, i mean this server gives you far more hours of fun than any other game you spend like £40 on

servers dont grow on trees other wise we get shanks to grow us a field of them

Hey guys,

I'm a new but recently converted fan of the NBR servers.

I'm interested in donating a little something.

Roughly what are your outgoings/overheads? Are you looking for a one off, or monthly subscription style donation?

Cheers and keep up the good work.

your asking for a lot of info there. there are various things being run

The top quality server
The forums
and various other things that im too lazy to type about.

But its well worth it, if you want just one big donation like i sometimes do (use link in my siggy), or subscriptions (through the forum) for about 5 - 15 a month, its up to you really. The choice is there and the options are great.

As Runner said if everyone donated a little (e.g. £5 month) then it would easily fund the server (24 slots on server = £120) im not saying thatll fund everything but it would be a big dent and since there are more than 24 regs it should be simple if everyone chipped in.

(looks at grav's family dam your bill would be high if we charged per min)

Thanks very much to Jasperman, //jet247, and Runner for their kind donations so far, as usual your support comes as no surprise and is greatly appreciated! Also thanks goes out to a relatively new player to our ranks, Tokyo Fist, who has decided to help the NBR out by taking a Platinum Subscription, which considering how many players the NBR has that have been here for years and never helped out at all is extra pleasing. To show our gratitude on everyone's behalf to Tokyo he has been given a server reserved slot for as long as his subscription runs for. Anyone else deciding to become a Platinum supporter will also have this gratitude extended to them too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

And what Runner says is perfectly true that every little helps, and if a lot of people gave a little it makes a bigger difference than a few people giving a lot. We appreciate that the vast majority of our players are not super loaded rich dudes, but everyone here puts credit on their phones, buys beer and fags and mars bars and stuff and i doubt there are many people that could honestly say they truly couldnt rustle up a fiver here and there to help us out a bit and save the usual suspects from having to pay for everything all the time. Some of our players are better off and can afford to pitch in a bit more, its just a case of wanting to is all.

Having said that its not always about the money, i am well used to parting with the hard earned to keep us going, sometimes its extra refreshing that someone has just taken the trouble to send us something, even if it is just a few quid, the fact that they bothered to show their appreciation of everything we provide for them at all kind of makes all the hard work seem worthwhile, and to be honest there are a lot of times when i wonder why i bother doing all this at all!

I found hitting subscribe the easiest method to use.

Initially i was put off by the fact it used paypal.... i don't have a paypal account and couldn't be arsed setting on up.....

However, no set up was required. Paypal is just llike the cashier in the transaction. Payment could also be made using your own banks debit/maestro style card, so no credit card required either.

Hey Magic, I'm going through financial shit at the moment and can barely afford to feed myself. However, I've just sent off for a loan of £10,000 and if I get that I'm sure I could muster up another donation (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
