Gungame Server Is Finally Closing, It's definate this time! Options

The gun game server will finally be permanently closed at the end of July. Yet again we find ourselves looking back on 6 months of little gun game player activity here within the community and total donations equals precisely zero. I won't be offering the chance for people to have slots to save the server because last time I did that loads of people agreed to help but only half of them followed it through and good old muggins here had to cover the shortfall (again)

So as much as it saddens me to do so, the GG server will be closed on the 31st July 2009. I would like to extend my thanks to the few people that have supported the server over the years!

I would be more upset if it wasn't for the fact that 99% off the players the GunGame attracts are dicks and/or foreign.

I'm not a xenophobe but the non english speaking players are unlikely to join the forums and donate but they have a good excuse compared to the majority of the players that just couldn't give a fuck about helping out but will likely bitch and moan as the server enters it's final days.

In short I love the GunGame and Magic has done a brilliant job but unfortunately the majority of players negate this effort by being annoying and abusive.

Thanks for your time, energy and of course cash which has made the GG on this server by far and above anything else that can be found in CSS land. It will be sadly missed by me and I'm sure the few regulars that were attracted. Goodluck with the community server, which if I ever figure out how to play, I may visit from time to time.

PS. By the way has it already been taken down can't seem to find it today???

Ahhhh I havent actually paid the bill for the coming month as i simply dont have the money spare right now, if i can come up with it in the next couple of days then i'll run the server till the end of july as intended.

it is a shame to see it go even though i hardly played on it after i got to rank 1 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) and moved on to the comm server. Comm server is more fun anyways as there are quite a lot of nusiances found on gg servers. thanks magic for your time and money!

This is sad to see it go this was my begginings on css and made loads of friends there i played it almost contantly and even went to number 1 slot in the ranks i will sorely miss it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
